Fairfax, Va. – To kick off its annual holiday toy drive, homebuilder Brookfield Homes has topped 10 of its area model homes with giant gift bows to mark the location of its donation boxes.
At 6-feet across each, the 10 "Brookfield Blue" bows required a total of 920 feet of ribbon – more than the length of three football fields. Throughout the holiday season, they will serve as a colorful reminder of the need for toy donations deserving local children.

Through Thursday, Dec. 14, those who visit a Brookfield Homes community throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia will be invited to donate a new, unwrapped toy during regular business hours, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. seven days a week.

All donations will be given to the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation.
